Jung Eunseo is Jung Yeseo's younger sister of nine years.[1]

She was an avid fan of the romance-fantasy novel "I Quit My Job and Ended Up as a Noble Young Lady in Another World" that came out the year she turned 19, which was in January. QNW allowed for her to escape reality while she was on the edge about being a senior in high school during March, and when she failed her practice test in June, Jung Eunseo claimed that "QNW gave her the strength to do well when she did fabulous on her practice test in September," as well as when she hit the jackpot with her college admissions test.[1]

My life is a total novel. I mean it. How do I live when it ends?
— Jung Eunseo, about QNW

Relationships[]

Jung Family[]

Jung Eunseo's family consists of her mother, her eldest brother of twelve years, her second older brother of nine years—Jung Yeseo—and herself.[2]

Her two older brothers raised her as if she were their own daughter, and according to Jung Yeseo: "I can say with certainty that my brother and I, although we are both not married, have done everything most parents would do with their kids."[3]

As Jung Eunseo grew older, her "storm-like QNW love swept us up like the numerous people handing out flyers for gyms on the street." She even had Jung Yeseo keep the server open in to pre-order the drama CD of the novel, right after he registered for his college courses, while their older brother, who worked from home, was tasked with the QNW OST, because Eunseo "strongly emphasized that (they) needed to help get the streaming count up."

QNW was always a topic amongst them whenever the three siblings sat down to eat together. At first, Jung Yeseo found it really awkward to be hearing his sister talk so often about a character who shared the same name as him (예서), but he eventually got used to it, dismissing it since "he was just a character in a novel, anyway."

Eunseo often asked her brothers to join her in reading QNW, but their eldest brother only got through half of the story before deciding it wasn't his kind of novel, while Yeseo—at the time—was too busy, having quit one job and was applying for new ones, before he got hired and needed some time to adjust to his new job. Because of this, Eunseo didn't press him too much, and eventually, by the time she got into college, her vocal enthusiasm for QNW slowly began to die down.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The English romanization for Jung Eunseo was confirmed in the author's notes of Chapter 455.[4]
  • Eunseo is 9 years younger than Jung Yeseo, and 12 years younger than their eldest brother.[1]
  • According to her second older brother, Jung Yeseo, Eunseo says things to herself every so often, with one of them being: "Don’t be overly self-conscious and regain your healthy life."[5]
  • During her analyses of the contents of the daily chapters, Jung Eunseo would give a discourse that could might as well be a whole a thesis on why the second male lead, Jesse Venetiaan, should be the main lead, claiming that "Crapdric is no good. He sinned against our Christelle again. She’s meant to be with Jesse."[1]
